Needs Assessment

Anxiety and Depression

Creating a needs assessment is vital when consider community based interventions. Needs assessments help determine what resources currently exist for a particular issue, and if the community itself truly views the perceived problem as an issue that requires attention.

As a Health Promotion and Behavior major at the University of Georgia, I had the chance to collaborate with a group of my fellow peers to create a community needs assessment for anxiety and depression. The population of focus were students at the University of Georgia who were suffering from one or both of these mental illnesses. Personally, I was able to create to introduction, format the paper, and write the overview regarding the health issues.

Consent from all group participants was given, providing the needed permission to publish this needs assessment. To learn more about this project, or to view the work discussed, please feel free to utilize the link below!
